  Terima kasih kerana sudi buat pembetulan. Dulu saya ingat tempat ini memang orang selalu berbunuhan-buhan. Rupa-rupanya Bunoh yang bererti singgah dari bahasa Thai. Kalau tak dibetulkan memang kesilapan ini akan berterusan sepanjang zaman. TQ lagi.

  The comments in Malay by chingoo above is beneficial to be translated into English which is as follows - Thanks for willingly make correction. In the past, I thought this place[village]was really where bloodshed is rampant. But, the word Bunoh[Malay word for killings isn't a Malay word, but a Thai word]. The Thai word Bunoh is meant "singgah" in Malay language or to stop for a while in English. If the meaning of killings for the word which is misunderstood of Malay instead of Thai word, this place's reputation will continually be bad of the image of bloodshed or killings but should be meant for "singgah" or to stop for a while. Thanks again chingoo for your good job, well done. Even though I'm a real Kelantanese, but today will be recorded in my history of the village bunohan that myself also keep wondering why my dear state of Kelantan got that bad name on the map.   The village of Bunohan was forever immortalized in a film by Dain Said titled "Bunohan" which potrays the relationship of 3 estranged brothers and their father's wish to atone for his sins to his youngest son.
