Presidential museum honoring the legacy of the 38th President of the United States, Gerald R. Ford (1913-2006). Following his death on December 26, 2006, thousands of people paid tribute to the President on the grounds of the museum. During the night of January 2, 2007, through the morning of January 3, an estimated 60,000 people viewed the casket in the museum lobby. President Ford was buried on the grounds of the museum later that day. Only nonelected President of the United States.

Unlike most other presidential libraries and museums, Ford's are in two different cities. The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library is in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on the campus of Ford's alma mater, the University of Michigan.
