Tidal Boating Lake (London)

This lake was used as the lower reservoir during the years of the Crystal Palace, it was known as the tidal lake as when the water was pumped back up to the top, the level of the lake lowered and when the water came back down from the top it rose. It was also used as a boating lake. although the boating has since closed.
