This pristine natural area is nestled in the heart of the City of Parkland and is named for Doris Davis Forman, wife of Hamilton Forman and mother of Collins and Austin. Cooperative efforts between the Forman family, City of Parkland Mayor and City Commissioners, Broward County Board of County Commissioners, Riverglades Elementary PTA has enabled this once endangered native land to be planned, restored, and opened to the public under the 1989 Environmentally Sensitive Lands (ESL) Bond Program.

Includes a 5-foot-wide, 900-foot-long pedestrian trail that travels through pine flat woods and a 1,550-foot-long boardwalk that meanders through the cypress wetlands and past a breathtaking oak hammock. Two seating/observation areas and a 30-foot by 30-foot pavilion area are located along the trail.
