Truly authentic Indian food, and the ambience is authentic too. Right out of an Indiana Jones movie. Natty Calcutta style including the edible precious-metal foil on the desserts. It's an adventure for those who like this sort of thing (including myself). But it should NOT be used to make an impression on an important new client. A small color TV blares the latest swami music channel B4U from Hindustan, entertainment for the cooks. Photos of leading democrats on the wall endorsing ethnic entrepreneurship.
