The Trapiche Eliezer Levy was for a long time the point of arrival and departure of the city. Inspired poets as Alcy Araújo which was called the poet of the pier. Before trapiche the vessels in the so-called Stone of aportavam Crane, which today is placed on the image of St. Joseph, the name of trapiche is a tribute to the then mayor Eliezer Levy that received resources of the interventor of Para, Magalhães Barata for that construction.
