  • LaBelle is home to the Swamp Cabbage Festival held the third weekend in February annually. Swamp cabbage, a vegetable produced from the bud of the Sabal Palm, Florida's State tree, is the heart of the festival. Delicious and delicate, it is one of the most versatile and unique vegetables you will come across. The celebration begins with a parade on the first day and continues for three days with several traditional games and contests, local crafts, food booths and good old fashioned fun for the whole family. You'll want to return year after year!
