Frogmore House (Watford)


Georgian house dating from 1716, once possessed of a very impressive doorcase (now long gone).

Lost on the dreary drag of Watford's Lower High Street, amongst gasometers, car dealerships and DIY superstores.

Currently surrounded by large boards to deter vandalism, Frogmore House was clumsily and insensitively repointed in recent years and presents a depressing reminder of how little we value anything of quality in our environment.
