Concentrated on less than 300 m, three very interesting works of the leak, in this particular case here the formerly navigable channel of Arroux, which comes down from Gueugnon to join the "Canal du Centre" to Neuzy and feed the side canal in the Loire. The lock belongs to small said template(size) " berrichon ", that is 28 m x 2,70 m. Built at the beginning of 1870s to allow the channel of Arroux to cross Bourbince, this work is the oldest metallic canal bridge of Bourgogne and one of the oldest of France. The drawbridge in the crossroads allows the towpath of the canal of the Center to cross(exceed) the channel.
