The Digoin aqueduct is a canal bridge that allows the Canal Lateral a la Loire to cross the Loire . It allows the side channel to connect a little further with the Central Canal , the port Campionnet Digoin.
Opened to navigation in 1838,the engineer in charge was Pierre-Alexandre Adolphe Jullien then aged only 29, it was altered between 1890 and 1896 by engineer Léonce-Abel Mazoyer.
