Probably the most famous hotel in Cuba. The Hotel National opened in 1930 and has seen many famous guests over the years, including the infamous "Havana Conference" of 1946 attended by leading figures of the American Mafia. The Hotel is located at the bottom of 'La Rampa' on the malecon and enjoys views over the florida straits from its gardens.
