Purna River (Forming boundary between Amravati and Daryapur tahsils ),
The Purna river rises near Bhainsdehi in Betul district (M.P.) in the Satpudas. Flowing in a southerly and south-easterly direction, it enters the Amravati district. It crosses the plains of the district in south-easterly direction, then turns westwards forming the boundary of the district and continues further to join Tapi River in village Changdeo. On the banks of the river Purna villages like Assegaon, Thugaon, Kholapur etc. are situated.
