This is a spot along the Cauvery river, with a lot of sand banks. There are ancient Shiva and Vishnu temples here. A famous festival called Panchalinga Darshana is celebrated here once in 12 years. The Keertinarayana Temple is a beautiful temple to Vishnu. This is also a picnic spot. It is about 130 km from Bangalore.
