Apio, Inc., a subsidiary of Landec Corp., was founded in 1979. Apio, Inc. markets a line of whole vegetables, fresh-cut vegetables, and bananas. Its product line includes broccoli florets, broccoli slaw, broccoli and carrots, broccoli and cauliflower, cauliflower florets, vegetable medley, and vegetable stir-fry in twelve-ounce, two-pound, and three-pound packages. Apio also has a line of fresh-cut vegetable party/snack trays packaged with Intellipac specialty packaging.
