Lotung Poh-Ai Hospital originated as a 30 beds small-scale general hospital in 1953 that aims to take care of every patient as one of our own families. By applying this passion to our medical service、we attempt to achieve Confucius’s ideal world of philanthropy-“Not only to treat our own families well but also other’s families.”
Started with the goal to be a “Hospital of Yilanese”、Poh-Ai Hospital has now transformed into an excellent regional teaching hospital that consists of 36 medical specialties、1100 beds and 1500 employees. Moreover、We also become Yilan county’s acute and intensive care medical center、community-focus medical center and tertiary medical referral center.
In the future、we will pursue the following key objectives:
1. The provision of first-class medical treatment、with high-quality、considerate care that treats the person as a whole.
2. The pursuit of excellence in medical education and research. The formation of alliances with universities and other academic institutions will help Poh-Ai Hospital to achieve a high standard of medical education and medical research.
