Historic theater that marks the center of the ethnically diverse neighborhood of Columbia Heights in Washington, DC, a community of brownstones and tall apartment buildings. It was built in 1924.

One of the largest movie theaters in Washington, DC, closed after the 1968 riots. Recently reopened as part of a mixed-use development.
