Numerous picnic tables and fire pits dot the area to the north of the stream. Our family used to meet friends there for weekend breakfast cooked over an open fire. The kids would climb rocks and play in the stream for hours. Take care to drive through the park slowly as numerous deer habit the area and like to eat the grass along Rt 43. This was also the place we would go when cutting class at Liberty High School and yes it is patrolled on a regular basis by Park Rangers.
