Panggung Bandaraya is gazetted as a heritage building under the Antiquities Act and has managed to preserve its beautiful Moorish façade.

Panggung Bandaraya is located right in the middle of Kuala Lumpur, at the corner of Jalan Tun Perak and Jalan Raja and is attached to the Kuala Lumpur Magistrate and Session Court Building. Situated diagonally across Merdeka Square and the Royal Selangor Club, the theatre is literally right in the heart of the city’s history.

Easily accessible via public transportation as it is only a 5 minute walk away from Masjid Jamek, STAR and Putra LRT Stations, the theatre is also approachable via several roads and off-streets parking is available along the river or across the road at DBKL Building.
