This section of the Yamato Museum is an outdoor promenade along the Kure waterfront which allows museum visitors to see the shipyard and naval base which built and homeported the SuperBattleship HIJMS Yamato (大和), all while walking along a 1:1 scale replica of the ship's Port bow section inlaid onto the surface of the wharf.
