Located on the Langpangkong range at an altitude of 954 mts., Changtongya is a town in Mokokchung District of Nagaland. It offers beautiful views of the valleys of the Tzula (Dikhu) river in the east and the Melak river on the west in between which lies the Langpangkong range.
Changtongya is also a bird-watchers paradise as migratory falcons from Mongolia and Germany come to the Reserve Forest located here.
It can be reached from Tuli (29 kms) & Mokokchung (45 kms) on the National Highway-61.
