Historic Hammersmith pub (17th Century). Excellent beer (Fullers) and decent food. Famous customers include Graham Greene and A.P Herbert (who lived nearby in Chiswick Mall).
It is claimed that James Thomson wrote Rule Britannia whilst lodging here. William Morris lived next door and Kate met Roger here in 1998.
