Honda Bay, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan

Also known as Kalungpang or Calumpang Island. Formerly known as well as Masong Island. Local folks changed the name to Snake island due to its long sand bar (approximately 3 kilometers long). Most photographed island in Honda Bay. Tourist come in for free to visit the island for snorkeling, fish feeding and photograph taking. Currently, the Puerto Princesa City government has jurisdiction over the "tail" or sand bar of the island in coordination with the DENR (Department of Environmental Resources) and the CENRO. Illegal structures in the island currently.
