This sanctuary is interesting because the building was originally built and used in the early 1980's as a Sport Challet store.
Inside the store on the west side of the building was an artificial ski slope made of extruded plastic tiles with upward spikes in an attempt to provide grip.
The slope had a "powered" section that moved on rollers powered by an electric motor.
It didn't work all that great but, was a useful sales tool that sold a lot of skis.
