A quite big mountain village, surrounded by beatiful landskapes and huge pinewoods. The old name of the village was Dealu Calului (the Horse' Hill). Except of the traditional professions like stock-farm, wood-cutting, wood-carving, nowadays eco-tourism is appearing.
