The building was constructed in the 19th century by architect Peter Bortnikov. It was Gostiny Dvor. Then Gostiny Dvor was rebuilded in 1903-1904 by architect Nikolai Anokhin and stone craftsmen K.Maslennikov and N.Maslennikov in classic style Hotel Hermitage.
