This is a police academy, known as Pusat Latihan Polis (PULAPOL) in Malay. It is a government training school for new police recruits. It is the oldest police academy in Malaysia. It is located at Jalan Semarak (formerly Henry Gurney Road). This police academy was established on 20th November 1904. The academy is charged with providing all members of the service with the best training possible, thereby enhancing their ability to protect the lives, rights, property, and dignity of all Malaysians and visitors to the country.
