Former Location of Baldwin Chevrolet and Motion Performance

This is where Joel Rosen built and sold the infamous Baldwin-Motion Chevrolets of 1967-1974. These cars, very rare and valuable now, are still regarded as the ultimate dealer option hot rods of the muscle car era. By 1974 the energy crisis and emissions regulations put an end to the fun and Motion Performance ceased to exist shortly after. The shop is currently a Speedworld location, the dealership is still operated as a used car lot.

  • While the location is long gone, Joel is still active, certifying Phase III Motion cars. He'll even travel to you (at a cost, of course) and verify your Phase III if you have a real one. My mother and father met and worked here, as did my 'uncle'.
