This is the site of the old Seaweed Baths of Ensicrone. The original building, built on the sea wall about 1800, is nearby, and looks like a white castle. The current building is still quite rustic. It has several private rooms in which one can take a hot steam treatment to open the pores, followed by a bath with hot sea-water and seaweed. You follow it up with a dousing of cold sea-water, pumped right in. The whole experience is quite delightful and refreshing. It cost around 20 euros in 2007, and well worth it.
