    During my short stint in Western Australia, in the year of 1984, I used to perform Friday prayer here. Then, the Friday sermon was being delivered in Arabic language by sermon giver. But, before the Friday prayer is performed which the sermon is delivered in Arabic, the Imam beforehand translated the contents of into English language, because the majority of the congregation do not understand Arabic. But, I don't know if mostly of the makmun(congregation)do not understand the language that is used to deliver the sermon, but the Perth Mosque, still want to use the Arabic language. Because, back in my country the sermon is delivered in our national language without any problems.
