military, nuclear weapons/warheads storage
In compliance with an international "nucelar sharing agreement" between some Nato members (but possibly in a violation to the Non-proliferation Treaty signed by Italy) in these depots are belived to be stored about 40 nuclear gravity bombs, types "B-61 A". The weapons are likely to be non-active. They are probably under the custody of the 831th U.S. Army brigade, but in fact to be used by Italian Pilots. They can be operated only by Italian Tornados.
