Overlooking the South China Sea on the left side and Mount Kinabalu on the right side, it is a humble, two way bridge with only two lanes. Tourists and locals alike always stop right here for some photographs of the scenic and beautiful Mengkabong Bay, as well of Mount Kinabalu. However, the actual name of this bridge is not known to many, as a large crowd refers to this bridge as Mengkabong Bridge and not Gayang Bridge.
