  • Famous as Dakshina Kedar, Balligavi has number of temples built by Hoysalas. Kedareswara Temple is one you see while going from Shiralakoppa. This being very neatly maintained temple, it has very intricate and superb stone works on the temple walls almost to the standards of Belur and Halebid. No need to say, even Belur and Halebid was build by Hoysalas.
