  • This is where I live, just off of Hwy 99 and No 4 Rd in Richmond. I live in one of the two building that are on the property, that are operated by a Christian based organization, of the name Life Line. Life Line offers a safe environment to individuals who want to clean up their lives after living with a drug addiction for the most part of their pitiful existence. Also, Life Line goes into the "war zone" of Vancouver, every week in a big blue school bus, loaded with soup and sandwiches, and clothing and blankets, to hand out to the needy. The property was owned and still is, I believe, by the City of Richmond and operated by the Richmond General Hospital to give care to patients with a mental dysfunction. Today, it still houses people with a mental dysfunction and I am one of them. Other than the noise of airplanes and jets taking off overhead and the noise of the traffic on Hwy 99, (It is only a few yards from my window), I like living here. It's better than living in the "war zone". I am grateful for, and in awe of, the individuals who work tirelessly for such a wonderful cause, especially Carey who puts in a terrific amount of time and energy, as well as working at a full time job, to do God's work. Cudos to Life Line and it's people and a sincere thank you for saving me from a life on the streets. May God Bless you Sincerely Sir Draigh
