Current home to the Resource Centre for the Arts (RCA). Contains an Art Gallery and Theatre. It's where Canadian Comedian Rick Mercer launched his career with his one man comedy plays. The name LSPU comes from its original owner, the Longshoremen's Protective Union, who used it as their meeting hall.
