Oedo (pronounced way-dough) is a western-style island botanical garden built 1969 by Lee Chang-ho and his wife in Hallyeo Haesang National Park (national marine park), in what is part of Geoje city, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea.
The island is home to more than 3,000 plant species, many quite rare, like Agave Americana, Rose of Sunshine, Windmill Palms, C.peruvianus (a kind of cactus), and includes many other subtropical plants, like cactus, palm trees, gazania, eucalyptus, bottlebrush bush, New Zealand flax, and agave.
Oedo has a coastal climate with mild subtropical weather.
