Founded by fifty German families in 1857 and incorporated on February 10, 1870, Anaheim is the second most populous city in Orange County, the tenth-largest city in California, and the 56th-largest in the United States.

"Ana" refers to the Santa Ana River and "heim" is the German word for home. The city's early pioneers considered this location to be their "home by the river."

  • Anaheim is a great city run by a giant mouse(rat) that controls the thoughts of city officials with it's special money funnel, and average citizens just have to live with it. If Walt Disney grew up here there would not be a Disneyland!
