  • This temple is famed to be more than 400 years old. The principle deity is Lord Vithobh. THe Head priest of the temple is Shri Balakrishna Bhat, Kundapur. The temple has been managed by the Bhat family since several generations.
  • Temple has a quaint charm mostly derived by beautiful glass chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, illuminated by diyas placed inside, the main door(hebbagilu) ornate and colourful, to mention a few. The idol of Vithobha, ensconced in the temple is accompanied by Rukmini and Sathyabhama. It is a family temple.
  • Sri Vittal Temple is a 15th century old temple devoted to Lord Vittal. It is situated at Kundapura, a coastal taluk in Udupi District of Karnataka. As per the copper plate collected by the endowment board, this temple was patronized by the queen Keladi Chennamma. A fair Deepotsavam is the main attraction, which is celebrated here with all grandeur and gaiety.
