  • Hi, I have been there last year, its really nice place. My dad belongs from Bhalod and his name was Shankarlal chandulal Bhatt
  • I belong to the Audichya Tolak Brahmin community of Bhalod Rajpipla. My Mosal was in Mota faliya, Bhalod near the Shnkar Mahadeo Temple. The seasoned politician of Gujarat, Shri Chimanlal Patel was raised as an orphan at the then sapanch 's- Shankar Shukal's home. It was a big Brahmin majority village , although very few brahmin families, mostly the old reside there. The main ghat is destroyed . I have very fond memories about many years of school vacations spent in Bhalod. I had many maasis, mamas houses over there. My Nana Shri mangaldas Purshottam Vyas was once a monied man in the late 1930's. His grandson mr. Rajendra Jayantilal Vyas retired as Headmaster of the school and was sarpanch of Bhalod for many years and still resides there. a really beautiful place.
