Opened in June 1988 as the JW Marriott Hotel at Century City.
On October 7, 1995, it became the Park Hyatt Los Angeles at Century City.
On January 9, 2007, it became the InterContinental Los Angeles Century City.
The hotel temporarily closed in March 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The closure was announced to be permanent in February 2021.
Location for many TV shows and films, including the 1990 thriller "Pacific Heights".
