The Somerset Canal Society’s plan to conduct a survey of the Paulton Basin has been supported by the landowner and also by Timsbury Parish Council in which some of the Basin is situated.
The idea of restoration received support in the Paulton Community Plan.There is an opportunity here to create a an area for recreation and wildlife which would also be an attraction to people outside Paulton, who might use other shops and facilities in the village
