  • Bishnugarh block is the biggest block of Hazaribagh district.it has performed many role in various sectors. There has been good academic record,health facilities, natural resource, forest wood, agricultural production and man power etc. There is the oldest temple at Banaso village under this block that is called siddhi pith. Many people go there for worship and prayer . Accordingly them one who goes to worship there devoutly, he gets desired boon. There is Jamuniya river that is nearest with this block where a dam was constructed by the DVC called now Jamuniya dam. Jamuniya dam is a good picnic spot for the students and the people of this block.
