  Good if you're planning a night out in the city or if you want to be within a walking distance of, say, the gate. Otherwise, Jurys Inn Quayside is a million times better. Trust me on this, I tried both. Well, I tried almost all 3 and 4 star hotels in Newcastle and the best two are Hilton Quayside and Marriott Gateshead
