The Sarnia Sports and Entertainment Centre (SSEC), known as Progressive Auto Sales Arena for sponsorship purposes, is a 5,500-capacity (4,118-seated) multi-purpose arena, which opened in September, 1998, and is currently home to the Sarnia Sting OHL ice hockey team. On 13 Feb 1999 it was the site of the greatest number of couples to have kissed in the same place at the same time, which up to then was a world record.
