A small subconical structure about 5 feet high and 45 feet in diameter. The Inman Trail, a scenic self-guiding nature trail about 1 mile in length, leads past several significant feature of the Glen, including Orators Mound.

According to "History of Greene County" by R.S. Dills 1881, Daniel Webster and Henry Clay used Orator's Mound as a stage for political speeches during the campaign of 1840.
