The Palacio de los Deportes Juan Escutia was built as a venue for the basketball events of the 1968 Summer Olympics. It features modern architecture and a copper roof. Currently used mainly for concerts and trade shows. The seating capacity is approximately 22,000. The arena also seats 17,800 for arena football.
