Permanently shut down in 1991 after a fire broke out.

  • Two fires in three years at the same nuclear plant? Horrendous. At least this one was contained and didn't cause a meltdown like the saddening events at Reactor 4 in 1989...

  • There was a fire in the turbine hall not in reactor, 180 tons of turbine oil and about 500 cubical meters of hydrogen had burned out but reactor was in safe untouched by fire.
  • fedel+kpo actually units 3 and 4 and 5 and 6 (never finished) were 2nd gen and 1 and 2 were 1st gen if had happened in a 1st gen unit meaning blocks 1 or 2 it would have been EVEN WORSE believe it or not
