Founded in 1765 by the Duchess of Ilchester. In spring it has camellias and magnolias.
It is open to the public and has a cafe which one can use without paying to go into the gardens.
Look out for autumn evening opening when the gardens are hung with coloured light effects. This creates a strange and beautiful atmosphere.
