Originally built in 1956, the Stuttgart-Unterturkheim track was expanded and improved in 1967. It is 1.86 miles or 3 kilometers long and has a 90 degree banked turn at the NW end. The track has been seen worldwide in many Mercedes print and television marketing campaigns.
