La Sainte-Chapelle (English: The Holy Chapel) is a Gothic chapel on the Île de la Cité in the heart of Paris, France. It is perhaps the high point of the full tide of the rayonnante period of Gothic architecture. It is famous for housing Christian relics including the crown of thorns brought to the site by Louis IX.

  • The most beautiful chapel in France. Its actually inside of the Palais de Justice so you have to go through security before walking up to the chapel (translation: you can't see it from the streets). I suggest buying your museum pass at this location because the lines are always the shortest compared to waiting in line at the Louvre. You won't regret it!
