Stade Pierre-Mauroy is a football stadium near Lille, that opened in August 2012. It is located in the Hôtel de Ville quarter of Villeneuve d'Ascq and will be the new home stadium of LOSC Lille Métropole.

In 2004, LOSC decided to enlarge its former stadium, the Grimonprez-Jooris Stadium because of the increased reputation of the club within Europe. In 2006, the city of Lille, co-owner of the stadium, saw its request denied by the Conseil d'État. The club then decided to build an entirely new stadium with enlarged capacity and launched a industrial bid. Three International firms, Eiffage, Bouygues and Vinci, answered with ambitious projects.

In 2008, the Eiffage project was chosen: a multi-purpose facility, with a 50,000-seat capacity, movable field and a retractable roof. Following a lengthy debate, the site chosen for the building was the "Borne de L'espoir" area in Villeneuve-d'Ascq.
